You can use digital product data with VDI 3805/ISO 16757 – BIM HVAC product data or Building Masterdata from industry association ARGE. Here, you can find data for numerous products with a view to technical building equipment, plus 3D bathroom planning data. Of course, there is also an interface available for conveniently downloading the full set of CAD data directly to your software.
QualityBIM – Product Data for Building Services
Kermi is a founding member and active project partner of the international BIM platform QualityBIM. (www.bdh-koeln.de).
This BIM platform offers access to over 1.5 million BIM models including alphanumeric product data from the MEP sector. With more than 30 CAD formats covering 2D/3D geometry models, the user can go straight into your calculation, CAD design or procurement. All data is available free of charge - for maximum flexibility and efficiency.
The platform is actively committed to the development of “Open BIM” and promotes the further development and data exchange of common standards such as VDI 3805, ISO 16757, ETIM MC and IFC. Our focus is on the standardization of formats, the definition of test rules and processes in order to always provide you with high-quality and consistent data at the “PlanningPoint” - in your MEP planning software.
