Combined degree programme
A combined degree programme at Kermi combines practical learning in our company in parallel with studying for a degree in the specialist areas of electrical and information technology, mechatronics or mechanical engineering. The combination of academic content and practical experience provides you with a good basis to successfully start your career. As a future engineer, you will use your theoretical and practical knowledge as a basis for developing the most effective and efficient solutions possible for technical challenges. Here, it is a matter of creating or enhancing complex systems and products or introducing new technical applications. At Kermi, two different models of the dual course of study are possible to give you the best possible preparation for these tasks:
Combined degree
- Training duration: 4.5 years
- Qualifications: Professional training as well as graduation with the title Bachelor of Engineering
- Practical professional training / Engineering work experience / Bachelor thesis at work, basic training in the in-house training workshop
- Placements in departments in different specialist areas (e.g. electronics, maintenance, production)
- Theoretical knowledge taught by Deggendorf Institute of Technology
- Internal lessons accompanying practical training and targeted preparation for exams by the instruction master
- Alongside the apprenticeship, training: e.g. PLC technology, IT courses
- Financial support from Kermi
In-depth practical training
- Training duration: 3.5 years
- Qualifications: Graduation with the title Bachelor of Engineering
- Practical phases / Engineering work experience / Bachelor thesis at work
- Placements in departments in different specialist areas (e.g. training workshop, electronics, maintenance, production)
- Theoretical knowledge taught by Deggendorf Institute of Technology
- In-house lessons accompanying practical training and courses: e.g. PLC technology, IT courses, CAD courses
